With the great weather that we’ve all enjoyed, crews have been able to continue work on site and haven’t missed a beat. The low walls at the dive vessel have been poured and the high walls are formed and ready for the concrete to follow. This will mark the completion of the concrete at the dive vessel.
Progress at the new competition/recreation pool has continued to move along and the second half of the pool is nearly ready for the final slab pour that will take place early in the week.
Progress at the pool house has continued and footings and foundations are nearly complete. Crews are prepping for the first concrete slab on grade pour with underground plumbing and masonry walls to soon follow.

Did You Know?
The existing pool is receiving a new plaster finish similar to that of the other pools. Prior to waterproofing and installing the final coat, a process called scarifying needs to take place. Scarifying is the process that uses a scarifying machine that has spinning metal blades that help to grind and chip away at the top layer of the concrete surface to remove any existing coatings while leveling the concrete in preparation for the new plaster finish to be applied.
