What’s New

The concrete walls at the competition/recreation pool were completed earlier this week and pool piping and backfilling is underway. With the walls complete, focus has shifted to completing the concrete ramp and stairs within the vessel to prepare for the pool finishes that will come early Spring 2023. The first of the two surge tanks will be set within the coming weeks, which will allow for the pool piping to be run back to the pool house for equipment hook-ups.
Exterior masonry walls have continued at the pool house, and wood frame trusses are now underway. Over the next three weeks, crews will push to get the pool house enclosed in preparation for the upcoming interior slab on grade pours. Once completed with the interior slab on grade, non-loadbearing masonry walls will take place leading to the start of the interior finishes.

Did You Know?
Between the four pool vessels there will be two surge tanks placed underneath the pool deck. Surge tanks are storage spaces used to ensure that water, when displaced from a pool, is filtered and pumped back into the pool. This not only helps with keeping the water at a constant level, but also with normal water circulation between the vessels.
