Did You Know?
Contractors and the City of Madison will work together to set re-use and recycling goals for projects with demolition. The goal for this project was to recycle, or salvage for reuse, a minimum of 75% by weight of the non-hazardous waste on-site. For example, the concrete from the pools was taken offsite and will be crushed for use as aggregate on other projects.
